This is a cracking example of the Beswick Horse (Head Tucked ,Leg Up) model 1549 brown gloss by PAL Zalmen available from 1958.....the end date is uncertain but the 2nd version was introduced in 1989.
He stands 7.5 inches(19.1 cm) tall and has the tail angled towards the off hind hock.In the 2nd version the tail hangs straight down.
This one is a particularly pleasing example of this model with its original green and gold sticker, round Beswick stamp and detailed shading in perfect vintage condition.
