A lovely example of the Galloping Horse model nos 1374 from the Beswick stable in luscious palomino colourway.
This was designed by Mr Orwell and only available between 1961-1973 in this colourway.Note short production run!
Model nos 1374 stands 7.5 inches tall and was the horse used for nos 1377 Canadian Mounted Cowboy.However no 1374 only has 3 hooves attached to the base compared to 4 hooves attached in the ridden variety.
In excellent vintage condition….just some light crazing as is to be expected in a ceramic model this age!
