This is quite a rare early Beswick Shire Horse entitled’ Grazing Shire’ designed by Arthur Gredington and only in production between 1946-1970.She has great shading and depth of colour!The best I’ve seen!
She stands 5.6 inches (14cm )tall and is in gloss brown.
This particular example is in perfect vintage condition with just some light crazing visible on her white stockings (see photo).This is unusual for this model -usually they have restored ears!
She’s surely been in a cabinet most of her life as she is as shiny and bright as the day she was made!A model popular with collectors but rarely seen for sale especially in this great condition!
