This is a very nice example of Beswicks H.M Queen Elizabeth 11 on Imperial -despite the slight damage she's sustained over the years....look at Imperials lovely blue nose, shaded feet and the overall shading and detail. This is surely an example made nearer 1958 than 1967!

So Imperial has a restored nearside ear,Her Majesty a restored plume but otherwise she is pretty sound -the leather reins are possibly replacements too but I'm not sure about that! She has been loved and out on display no doubt and has light overall crazing( and a couple of patches of ingrained grime )

Having mentioned all that I still really like her and she displays well and is bargainous for this model (because of the afore mentioned!)

Model nos 1546 ,designed by Mr Folkard, available only between 1957-1981 it stands 10.5 inches(26.7cm) tall. The only colourway is Chestnut Gloss and Imperial was the actual horse ridden sidesaddle by the late Queen Elizabeth to celebrate the Trooping of the Colour in 1957
