A very colourful and cheering early Beswick bird from the World renowned Beswick factory available between 1941-1975 only and designed by Arthur Gredington.
He’s a Parakeet  in green and yellow gloss. 
Model nos 930 as is printed in the clay in the base along with Beswick England -which tells the knowledgeable that it’s an early example of this pretty model!
Sadly he has been off his perch at some point in his life (see photos)but I actually didn’t notice until I took him outside in the bright sunlight !and as is to be expected does have overall light crazing hence bargain price!
