This is a rare lovely example of a Beswick Suffolk Punch Champion “Hasse Dainty” model nos 1359 in Dark Chestnut gloss.
This was designed by Mr Orwell and in production only until 1971 when it was discontinued.
See the last photo for the difference between the light and dark chestnut variations!This is a particularly nice example as it was painted by the renowned paintress 95 as indicated on the one foot.
As far as I can see this has had no restoration and unusually for this example no crazing either….a  lovely clean example no doubt cabinet stored all her life!
