An outstanding example of a Beswick Shire Mare 818 for your perusal!
This is a beautiful example of this iconic mare.She may have  had some restoration to her ears (see photos )and but none the less she is very worthy of a place on your display shelf....look at those  evenly painted  dapples ,bluey grey sheen,amazing eye detail, differing tones in her mane Plus lovely darker legs.
Has  a round Beswick stamp to her belly.
Only available between 1958-1989 this is without doubt an earlier example.
Designed by Arthur Gredington she stands 8.5 inches(21.6cm)tall.She is a First Version (without harness)
