This is a stunning Beswick Swish Tail horse in grey gloss ,model nos 1182  out of my private collection.
Available between 1961-1982 this has a real bluey sheen (which is not really showing up in the photos!)expressive eyes and a blue grey nose...all highly desirable attributes in Beswick World.
Designed by Arthur Gredington she stands 8.75 inches (22.2cm) tall and has the round Beswick Backstamp on her tummy indicating an older model.
She's a 1st version with tail attached to the quarters almost parallel to the ground.
In excellent vintage condition.Her only minute fault that I can spot is an absolutely minute pinprick off the top tip of her nearside ear ...I am being pedantic really it is nothing ...but I try to be 100% honest in my descriptions!These good older versions are getting harder to source especially ones like this with the blue sheen ,grey nose ,dark points and multi coloured mane and tails.
