This is a very rare Early Beswick example of a Grazing Shire -Model nos 1050 in Grey Gloss.She has been in the wars and has overall crazing as you can see,and hence is a bargain price.... but dont be put off still displays well and is a highly collectible and desirable piece!
She is the best example of this model that I have seen....probably because she is such an early example.....beautiful even dapples (and plenty of them!)and a blue hue ....just look at those eyes!Shes simply adorable!
This was designed by Arthur Gredington and in production only between 1962-1970 in this colourway.
She stands 5.6 inches 14 cm tall.
Her book price in 1998 was £550!
